| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | “Spätaussiedler” are ethnic germans from the states of the former Soviet Union and other countries mostly Eastern European ones, resettling in Germany. They have to prove their german descend in a special application procedure and will then be awarded german citizenship. According to the General Law Regulating Compensation for War-induced Losses these migrants are entitled to claim german citizenship with all rights and responsibilities. Nonetheless they are culturally, mentally and socially real inmigrants. With an increasing number of Spätaussiedler migration evolved as a mass movement since the late 1980ies, rendering their integration in the Federal Republic of Germany more and more difficult. This paper deals with the understanding of the “Spätaussiedler” concept. | es_ES |
