Španelsky Plakáty: el cine español en los carteles checoslovacos

Abstract

La cartelística checoslovaca, que hunde sus raíces en la prestigiosa gráfica surgida en la vecina Polonia, encarna un claro ejemplo de la interrelación entre Cine y Pintura a través de su recurso a la estética surrealista. Esta circunstancia se aprecia con nitidez en los carteles dedicados al cine español –se representa exclusivamente el de los años sesenta y setenta–, los cuales testimonian a su vez la percepción que se tenía en Checoslovaquia de la España franquista a través de su Séptimo Arte.

Czechoslovakian posters, deeply rooted in the prestigious Polish Graphics Arts, constitute a clear example of the connections between Cinema and Painting through their use of surrealist aesthetics. This circumstance can be appreciated with accuracy in the posters about Spanish cinema –the cinema of the sixties and the seventies is exclusively represented–, which testifies the perception of the Spain of Franco they had in Czechoslovakia through the Spanish Seventh Art.
