La integración de las TIC en la educación formal: Red Tecnológica Educativa de Extremadura y GNU‐LinEx.

Abstract

Se muestra el proceso de incorporación de la Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura a la llamada "Sociedad de la Información" y se explican los proyectos educativos denominados: "Red Tecnológica Educativa de Extremadura" y "Software libre GNULinEx", así como la incidencia que tienen en el sistema educativo no universitario de la región. El artículo va explicando la creación de la infraestructura tecnológica, la creación de un software libre y propio, la formación del profesorado y termina con la generación de contenidos curriculares interactivos.

In this article the incorporation process is shown from Extremadura to the ʺSociety of the Informationʺ and the educational projects, ʺEducational Technological Net of Extremaduraʺ and ʺFree Software GNU‐LinExʺ is explained, as well as the incidence that they have in the system educational of the region. The article describes the creation of the technological infrastructure, the creation of a free and own software, the teacherʹs formation and it finishes with the generation of interactive curricular contents.
