dc.description.abstract | Las cuevas y las minas se consideran lugares de especial riesgo de exposición al 222Rn. Esto es especialmente importante para los guías y trabajadores, pero también para los visitantes. En la región de Extremadura (España) hay dos sistemas de cuevas en los que hay trabajadores realizando sus tareas cotidianas. En uno de ellos se han reducido las visitas para mantener las condiciones de temperatura y humedad. El otro comprende varias cuevas visitadas frecuentemente por grupos escolares. Las cuevas fueron caracterizadas radiológicamente con el fin de estimar la dosis recibida por los trabajadores, o los posibles riesgos para los visitantes. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Caves and mines are considered to be places of especial risk of exposure to 222Rn. This is particularly important for guides and workers, but also for visitors. In the Extremadura region (Spain) there are two cave systems in which there are workers carrying out their normal everyday tasks. In one, visits have been reduced to maintain the conditions of temperature and humidity. The other comprises several caves frequently visited by school groups. The caves were radiological characterized in order to estimate the dose received by workers, or possible hazards for visitors. | es_ES |
