Faetón. Antes y después de Ovidio

Abstract

En este artículo hacemos una selección de algunos de los autores de la literatura clásica greco-romana que han tratado el mito de Faetón. Recogemos las distintas versiones que nos ofrecen, desde la genealogía hasta el motivo y el modo en que murió el osado hijo del Sol. Del mismo modo, apuntamos algunas de las versiones más significativas del Renacimiento y del Barroco.

In this article we select some authors of classical Greco-Roman Literature who wrote about The Phaeton Myth. Different versions are collected, from his genealogy to both his reason for dying and how the daring Son of Helios died. Together with this, we also draw attention to the most significant versions in the Baroque and the Renaissance.
