Una propuesta didáctica para primaria: la mujer a través de los museos extremeños

Abstract

La relación entre la mujer y el museo ha sido escasa hasta hace relativamente poco, si bien últimamente se intenta realzar la presencia femenina, y señalizar itinerarios al efecto. En el caso de los museos de Extremadura, la situación no difiere en exceso, aunque la preocupación por esta temática es reciente. Podemos hablar de una mujer estereotipada, poco presente en las colecciones, y con algunas artistas actuales, pero mayoritariamente foráneas.

The relationship between women and the museum has been scarce until relatively recently, although recently attempts have been made to enhance the female presence, and to mark itineraries for this purpose. In the case of the museums of Extremadura, the situation does not differ excessively, although concern about this issue is recent. We can talk about a stereotyped woman, little present in the collections, and with some current artists, but mostly foreign ones.
